For the Einstein-year in 2005 the Academy of Sciences Berlin Brandenburg planned to establish a bus route between Einstein´s historic domains in and around Berlin. A bus with guides and cinematic installations would provide performances, experiments and movies about Einstein and his theory to the travellers on the ride.
Therefore the conception covered actions taken by the escorting guides, the screenplay for several movie parts as well as the design of interactive installations on board and on-site. With pupils and teenagers as target audience a suitable visual appearance was as important as the development of graspable images for Einstein´s theory of relativity.
Since spectators in motion play a decisive role for this theory it was an obvious idea to make the bus-riding spectators and the bus trip itself to subjects of the movie.
After Conception, screenplay and the production of an intro-movie the final realization unfortunately failed due to missing funding.
